Meet the Owners
Howdy! We're John and Sara, the owners of Just What I Needed Retreat and we're honored to be considered the hosts of your Broken Bow getaway vacation.
We are longtime DFW residents and spend our days there as entrepreneurs, each operating our own businesses. We fell in love with the Broken Bow/Hochatown/Beavers Bend area on our very first visit in August of 2020. Just two months later we became cabin owners! We are a family of four Texas Aggies, including our two adult children.

We enjoy helping families make lasting memories at our private creekside cabin in the woods. We love nature and the outdoors, and saw this as a perfect spot to get away from the big city within a convenient driving distance of home. Hopefully you will find your cabin escape as peaceful and relaxing as we do. In fact, we find it difficult to leave every time we’re there!
We chose the Just What I Needed name because we wanted our guests to feel exactly that way after every stay. We look forward to helping you spend some well wasted time.
Wonderful location. Hop directly on a trail from the front porch. Also only 5-10 minutes from Hochatown. The cabin is great as well. Recently remodeled, we felt like everything we touched was new! After 3 trips, this is the best place we've stayed while visiting the Broken Bow area.
